Having something ready in the freezer can help you to eat healthily

As I promised last week I am blogging whilst on holiday with some recipes for you to try.

Often when you are trying to eat healthily and lead a busy life it is useful to have something in the freezer that you can have to pop in the oven when you get home.

This tasty twist on cauliflower cheese which includes mushrooms can do just this, although once you have prepared it you can just cook it rather than freeze it.

As the recipe is for four you could divide it up and cook one or two portions then freeze the others, they will keep for up to three months so there are lots of options

Hope you enjoy but if you want to know more contact http://www.weight-away.org

Eating well does not stop you losing weight

As I head off on holiday this week todays blog and the next three weeks will all feature recipes that you can cook, enjoy, be healthy and still lose weight.

I think this is the real trick to losing weight and keeping it off.

For example whilst I have nothing against smoothies or useful gadgets such as a Nutribullet I don’t want to live on drinks all the time.

Equally whilst I love salad there are times when a crave pasta with a sauce and knowing how to balance all of this whilst still losing or maintaining your weight is the key to a healthy and enjoyable life and the great escape from yo-yo dieting.

So I hope you will enjoy these recipes and if you want to know more about my Weight Loss Plans go to http://www.weight-away.org

Celebrating the success of my latest male client

It is always great when someone joins my Weight Away Plans and does well so I was so delighted that my latest male client has lost 15lbs in 7 weeks but also brilliantly 3 inches from his waist.

This is really great because I think we all know by now that having excess weight around our middles is the greatest risk to our health.

Nothing is more true than this as with Type 2 Diabetes where if you are a man and your waist is above 37 inches you are at risk and if it exceeds 40 inches you are 5 times more likely to be diagnosed with diabetes. For women this measurement is 32 inches but if it exceeds 35 inches you become 3 times more likely to be diagnosed with diabetes.

For men this can often be hidden in the sense that they are perhaps wearing their trousers below their actual waist and thinking that still have a waist measurement of less than 40 inches.

So take out your tape measure today and measure round the widest part of you middle and if you are at risk try to do something about it to improve your chances of not getting Type 2 Diabetes.

I can of course help you if you contact me at http://www.weight-away.org

Putting off things till tomorrow means you never get what you want.

We are all human and I know I have often found myself putting things off by saying

‘Oh I’ll start or do that tomorrow!’

But if you do this do you ever actually start.

Often I put things off because I really don’t like doing them for example completing tax records. In this case I usually find myself having to do things at the last minute to meet a deadline promising myself I won’t get into that position again.

But what about weight loss. If you really want to lose weight you need to change your eating habits for life and there is no better time to do this than today. This doesn’t mean that you will have to give up everything you ‘love’ you just need to have less and balance it with a healthy food plan. In this way all your tomorrows can be days when you are in control of your eating and your weight and you can live a healthy life.

So if you want to know how to make today the first day of a lot of healthy tomorrows contact me at http://www.weight-away.org

So Where Is Summer?

I don’t know about you but I usually think of June as being Summer and hoping that June will start a run of good weather.

So I have to say that this morning was a bit of a disappointment, as not only was it dull, but it was also cold and I found myself heading out to meeting in an outfit that seemed more appropriate for autumn.

I mention this because I am desperate to get into to my summer clothes.

I can safely say that when I was overweight although I liked the summer weather it was the worst season for me.

– I was always looking for clothes that covered up my lumps and bumps
– I found the hot weather made my thighs rub together and get sore
– I never really wanted to go on beach (although some of you will have seen my awful before photo on the beach)
and finally I never really felt I could join in fun things because of my weight.

I know this is all different for me now and I love to help others get to a weight they are happy at.

So are you looking forward to summer! If not contact me at http://www.weight-away.org and I can help you!
