As we go through the year there are all sorts of events that celebrate a particular day or week.
Wednesday 26 November is Cake Day!
I don’t why it is cake day but I know that a lot of us would like every day to be cake day.
If you are trying to lose weight you don’t need to cut out cake totally but you should have it as a treat and try to look for options that are not too overloaded with calories. Today I have included a couple of recipes for cakes that I find helpful because they can be kept and/or shared quite easily and are very simple to cook.
The key thing when eating cake is to enjoy it but work it into a healthy balanced diet and in that way there is no guilt!
