Remember to reward yourself

When you are losing weight it is good to keep yourself focussed on your overall goal but don’t forget to reward yourself on the journey.

If you have a lot of weight to lose setting smaller goals such as every half stone can be a great way to keep yourself motivated

This can be something such as buying a new nail varnish, treating yourself to a trip to the cinema or buying yourself something you have wanted for a time.

One thing that really worked for me was to put a  £ coin into a tin for every pound in weight I lost which meant by the time I had lost the 75lbs I lost to get to my goal enabled me to buy a dress I wanted for a formal night on a cruise
