I know from bitter experience that when the time comes to go on holiday I used to wish I hadn’t put off losing weight as I always found myself panicking and whizzing round the shops buying clothes for the holiday that often came back unworn.
The other sad fact is that I would also come back from holiday heavier than when I went and very depressed when I checked out all the photos
If you recognise this don’t despair
On holiday eat plenty of fruit and veg and don’t overdue the alcohol and ice creams and take some time to think about one of two things you could do to improve your eating when you get home. This could be cutting out eating between meals, swapping biscuits and chocolate for fruit or nuts, cutting out fried food.
In this way you can lose weight steadily and look forward to future holidays without the panic.
